Welcome to the Personal Protection Gear Page
(To those concerned about COVID-19 Coronavirus: I personally believe in lying low and using personal protective equipment only when absolutely necessary. People who have cold symptoms (runny noses, etc.) may be suffering mild effects from Covid-19 and might best let the medical system deal with more serious cases while you self-quarantine, so you do not infect more vulnerable people. Those who develop dry sore throat and fever may well need focused medical assistance; this is when masks, gloves, and goggles will prove very useful. How cruel it would be to visit a hospital or clinic jammed with ill people, test negative, and catch it there. We must all be careful, avoid panic, and let the front-line experts help those who really need it. Thank you, and stay well!)
Masks, gloves, goggles, and disinfectant are for sale through Amazon.com's digital processing and payments system. Click on an icon to explore a product and add it to a shopping cart. Transactions are fulfilled in Amazon's customary fashion.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Readers of American Fever: A Tale of Romance & Pestilence will find, as the story progresses, that no one can be 100% certain that wearing even a high-quality mask will prevent flu transmission. Nonetheless, I own them and I'll wear them if the occasion arises. The products offered here are all items I have purchased for my own use. There are no product placements.

REGARDING DISINFECTION OF GOGGLES:
“To sterilize and disinfect safety lenses, experts suggest gas or ultraviolet sterilization. Alternatively, the lenses can be immersed for 10 minutes in a generic liquid disinfectant that won’t harm plastic or polycarbonate materials. Allow the lenses to air dry, as rinsing stops the disinfection process. Special disinfectant sprays can be purchased from safety eyewear manufacturers.”
Sadly, various changes at Amazon.com have snarled the original sales links, which were useful, funny, or both. The safety gear would have been no less useful in coping with Covid-19 coronavirus.
